Bengaluru’s focus has shifted from the Yellow Line to the upcoming Pink Line of Namma Metro, which is planned to open in two phases by 2026. The extension aims to improve connectivity across parts of the city not yet served by the metro network, offering more commuting options for residents.
Phase 1 of the Pink Line will cover key sectors connecting underserved areas, while Phase 2 will extend the route to integrate additional nodes and interchanges with existing lines. Officials emphasize that the new line will ease travel across those sectors and help decongest traffic in busy corridors.
The development is expected to boost real estate activity along the Pink Line’s path, with sectors nearby likely to see increased interest for both residential and commercial properties. Property developers and homebuyers are monitoring the project’s progress as it shapes infrastructure-driven growth in Bengaluru.
