Hyderabad-based My Home Group is set to make a major entry into the Bengaluru real estate market with a proposed high-rise mixed-use township at Konadasapura along Old Madras Road (OMR) in East Bengaluru. Industry sources indicate that the group, through an affiliated entity, has acquired a 52-acre land parcel that could emerge as one of the city’s largest integrated developments in the coming years.

The land parcel, located off Old Madras Road near the Whitefield-Hoskote growth corridor, was auctioned by the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) earlier this year. Hyderabad-based Srini Nirman Pvt Ltd secured the site with a winning bid of ₹2,097 crore after more than 20 rounds of competitive bidding involving major developers, including Brigade Group and Godrej Properties.

Real estate market discussions have linked Srini Nirman to My Home Group, one of Hyderabad’s prominent real estate developers. Reports note that the company operates from My Home Hub in Hyderabad, further fuelling speculation about My Home Group’s involvement in the acquisition. However, an official confirmation regarding the association has not yet been publicly announced.

Sources tracking the development say the proposed project could include around 23 residential towers with more than 5,700 apartments, along with two commercial towers offering nearly 5 million sq. ft. of built-up office space. The township is expected to be positioned as a large-scale integrated urban development combining residential, commercial, retail, and lifestyle infrastructure within a single campus.

The proposed township gains additional significance due to its proximity to Brigade Group’s large mixed-use development in the same corridor. Together, the two mega projects are expected to add more than 40 high-rise towers to the micro-market over the next several years, potentially transforming Konadasapura and the surrounding OMR belt into a major urban cluster in East Bengaluru.

The scale of the planned developments is also expected to increase pressure on civic infrastructure and public transport systems in the region. Real estate analysts believe the corridor may require stronger metro connectivity, road widening, and upgraded social infrastructure to support the projected rise in residential population and office workforce.

Konadasapura has emerged as a strategic growth pocket because of its connectivity to Whitefield, Budigere Cross, Hoskote, and the IT corridors of East Bengaluru. The region also benefits from access to Old Madras Road and the Whitefield-Hoskote Road network, making it attractive for large-format township developments.

The acquisition is being viewed as a significant milestone in Bengaluru’s real estate market, not only because of the transaction value but also because it marks the growing interest of Hyderabad-based developers in expanding into Karnataka’s capital city.
