Bollywood actor Karisma Kapoor has renewed the lease of her premium apartment in Bandra West, Mumbai, for an annual amount of ₹66.12 lakh. The updated agreement, registered in mid-November, confirms a monthly rent of ₹5.51 lakh along with a security deposit of ₹20 lakh. The renewal reflects continued interest in high-value residential properties in one of Mumbai’s most in-demand neighbourhoods.
The leased apartment is located in a well-known residential building on Hill Road and offers a carpet area of around 2,200 sq ft. The unit also includes three dedicated parking spaces, a feature that significantly enhances its rental value given the high demand and limited availability of parking in this part of the city. The property is part of a locality known for its premium housing options, strong social infrastructure, and proximity to commercial hubs.
This lease extension follows the actor’s earlier two-year agreement with the same company, which had begun in 2023. Under the previous arrangement, the rent was set at ₹5 lakh per month in the first year and ₹5.25 lakh in the second year, amounting to a total of ₹1.23 crore over the full term. The newly signed agreement indicates a marginal increase from the last recorded monthly rent, consistent with typical rental escalations in Mumbai’s luxury real estate segment.
Industry experts note that Bandra West continues to remain one of the strongest rental markets in the city, driven by its mix of upscale residential complexes, entertainment industry presence, connectivity, and lifestyle amenities. Lease renewals involving well-known personalities often highlight the sustained value of premium neighbourhoods and the confidence of tenants in long-term occupancy.
As of now, no official comments have been made by the parties involved in the agreement. However, the registration details reaffirm the ongoing demand for spacious, high-quality apartments in central and western Mumbai, particularly those offering modern amenities and ample parking.
