The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) has proposed the development of approximately 4,251 flats across six housing projects in Bengaluru, with an estimated investment of around ₹3,200 crore. The initiative marks a significant step toward addressing urban housing demand, with a clear shift toward vertical residential development in response to land constraints and rapid urbanisation.
The planned projects are spread across key growth corridors, including Konadasapura, Electronics City, Valagerahalli, Kalathammanahalli, and Kenchanapura, reflecting a distributed development approach across the city.

The upcoming housing developments are designed to cater to a wide range of homebuyers, with configurations ranging from 1BHK to 4BHK units. Among the projects, Konadasapura Phase 1, located near Whitefield, is expected to be one of the largest, featuring a significant number of residential units along with supporting commercial infrastructure.
In addition to the current pipeline, BDA is also planning an additional 4,800–5,000 flats, indicating a sustained expansion strategy in the residential segment.
