The upcoming Namma Metro Pink Line has received its fourth six-coach trainset, marking another step toward the launch of the new metro corridor in Bengaluru. The train was manufactured by BEML Limited and delivered to the Kothanur depot on Bannerghatta Road from BEML’s manufacturing facility in New Thippasandra.
Officials from Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited confirmed that the train arrived on March 13 and will undergo technical inspections and safety checks before entering operational service.
The addition of new trainsets is part of preparations for the first operational section of the Pink Line, which is expected to begin service in phases over the coming months.
