Filmmaker and producer Karan Johar has purchased a luxury residential apartment in Khar West, Mumbai, for Rs. 8.05 crore, underscoring the continued demand for premium housing in one of the city’s most sought-after neighbourhoods. The transaction was registered in November 2025, as per official property registration records accessed through the Maharashtra Inspector General of Registration.
The apartment is located in a residential project known as Pali Vintage, a well-established development in Khar West. The property has a carpet area of approximately 1,060 sq ft and comes with two dedicated car parking spaces, a key consideration in Mumbai’s high-density residential zones. The transaction involved a stamp duty payment of around Rs. 48 lakh, along with registration charges of Rs. 30,000, according to registration documents.
