Stryker Inc., a leading global medical technology firm, has launched a new 140,000 sq ft research and development facility in Whitefield, Bengaluru. This addition further strengthens its presence in India, complementing its existing R&D campus in Gurgaon.
The Bengaluru facility will host cross-functional teams and cutting-edge labs specializing in robotics, artificial intelligence, digital innovation, and product security. A Medical Experience Center is also part of the facility, intended to showcase Stryker’s medical devices such as ICU beds, stretchers, ambulance cots, and public-access AEDs.
This expansion is part of Stryker’s broader strategy to deepen its research footprint in India. The Whitefield facility will enable closer collaboration with healthcare professionals and faster innovation cycles. In its remarks, the company emphasized that the facility is designed to attract technical talent and foster excellence while advancing its mission to improve patient care globally.
Bengaluru’s reputation as a technology and medical innovation hub is expected to gain further momentum with this development.
