Bengaluru-based real estate developer Sumadhura Group has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Telangana Government to invest ₹600 crore in developing a 100-acre Grade-A industrial and logistics park. The agreement was formalised at the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025 held at Bharat Future City — aligning with the state’s long-term ambition to transform into a robust manufacturing and logistics hub.

The upcoming industrial park aims to offer plug-and-play facilities tailored for aerospace, automotive, pharmaceutical and e-commerce companies. Once operational, the project is expected to generate around 8,000 direct jobs as production and warehousing operations scale up.  Sumadhura Group says the park will feature modular production units, ready-to-use warehousing, internal roads and logistics-ready infrastructure — enabling companies to commence operations quickly.

According to the company’s vice-chairman, the park has been designed to meet global benchmarks in design, technology and operational efficiency to attract high-value industries.  The decision marks a strategic expansion by Sumadhura beyond its traditional residential and commercial projects, reflecting increasing investor interest in industrial and logistics real-estate amid India’s evolving manufacturing landscape.

For Telangana, the investment supports its goal of boosting manufacturing, infrastructure and supply-chain capabilities — laying groundwork for long-term economic growth and industrial diversification. The new park could strengthen the state’s appeal to global manufacturers and logistics operators seeking strategic hubs.

As implementation begins, the upcoming industrial-logistics park may impact the broader industrial real-estate market, spurring further development, employment generation and infrastructure expansion across the region.
