DLF Ltd is expanding its residential offerings by entering the senior living homes segment with a new ₹2,000 crore project in Gurugram. The project is designed to provide safe, accessible, and community-oriented housing for older adults, retirees, and anyone seeking supportive, age-friendly living environments.
The Gurugram development is expected to generate around ₹2,000 crore in revenue upon completion. It aligns with DLF’s broader vision of creating inclusive housing solutions that cater to diverse needs, lifestyles, and stages of life, ensuring comfort, independence, and opportunities for social engagement.
Ashok Tyagi, Managing Director of DLF Ltd, highlighted that housing demand in Gurugram remains strong, especially for thoughtfully designed projects by established developers. While third-quarter sales showed some slowdown, he expressed confidence that the company would achieve its annual pre-sales target of ₹20,000–₹22,000 crore for the fiscal year.
Aakash Ohri, Managing Director and Chief Business Officer of DLF Home Developers Ltd, shared that sales have resumed in DLF’s ultra-luxury project, The Dahlias, with prices increasing over 25% from pre-launch levels. As of December 2025, around 220 units worth ₹15,716 crore have been sold. Ohri confirmed that details of the senior living project will be finalized ahead of its launch later this quarter.
This initiative reflects a broader trend in India’s real estate sector to develop inclusive, purpose-built communities for senior residents, supporting a variety of lifestyles and abilities. DLF also plans additional projects in Mumbai, Panchkula, and Goa, underscoring its commitment to providing welcoming and accessible residential spaces across key urban markets in India.
