Phase 2 of Ashiana Housing Ltd.‘s senior living project, Ashiana Vatsalya, which offers residences made especially for older folks, has opened in Chennai. The development, which is close to Kolavai Lake, offers a combination of convenience, comfort, and beautiful surroundings.
The 2.73-acre newly inaugurated phase has 1, 2, and 3 BHK apartments with prices ranging from ₹75 lakh to ₹1.61 crore. 430 of the project’s 1,114 units have been introduced under Phase 2. In order to provide prospective homeowners with timely delivery, the business anticipates possession by July 2028.
The setting is made more appealing by the fact that over 66% of the houses in Phase 2 have a view of the lake. A 42,000 square foot clubhouse, 6.29 acres of landscaped gardens, and more than 40 lifestyle and sports amenities are all part of the project, which will provide homeowners with a lively and active community.
In order to grow its senior living division throughout important cities including Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Delhi-NCR, Ashiana Housing intends to invest about ₹425 crore in FY2025–2026. Nine senior housing projects, including three in Chennai, three in Bhiwadi, and one each in Jaipur, Pune, and Lavasa, are presently under development by the developer.
Over 19,000 families have benefited from the company’s delivery of more than 23 million square feet across 55 projects in eight locations, which fall into several categories like senior living, kid-centric, luxury, and elite residences.
Ashiana Vatsalya’s first phase was well received; 205 out of 258 units were sold, bringing in almost ₹167 crore. The Phase 1 performance’s success and Phase 2’s early interest show that Chennai’s real estate industry is seeing an increase in demand for structured senior living facilities.
