Real estate developer Brigade Group is planning a large-scale residential development at Budigere Cross along Old Madras Road (OMR) in East Bengaluru. The upcoming project, currently referred to as Brigade Budigere Cross, is expected to add a major high-rise residential community to one of the city’s rapidly developing corridors.
According to available project details, the proposed Brigade Budigere Cross development will feature five residential towers, each designed with 4 basements + ground + 50 floors. Every tower is planned to reach a height of around 160 metres, which is well within the 200-metre maximum height permitted in the area under current planning norms.
The project is expected to include a total of 1,930 residential units, making it one of the larger residential developments proposed in the Budigere Cross micro-market. The scale of the project reflects growing housing demand in East Bengaluru, particularly in areas that offer connectivity to Whitefield, KR Puram, and the Old Madras Road corridor.
Interestingly, Brigade Group had initially proposed around 45 floors per tower when the project was first conceptualised. The revised proposal now increases the height to 50 floors, indicating a shift toward taller vertical residential towers in the updated development plan.
The Brigade Budigere Cross project location benefits from improving infrastructure and connectivity. Budigere Cross has emerged as an important residential growth belt due to its proximity to Whitefield’s IT hubs, the KR Puram railway and metro corridor, and upcoming infrastructure projects such as the Satellite Town Ring Road (STRR).
While detailed information such as apartment configurations, pricing, and official launch timelines has not yet been announced, the proposed project signals Brigade Group’s continued focus on large high-rise residential communities in emerging growth corridors of Bengaluru.
Further details about Brigade Budigere Cross are expected once the developer releases official announcements and obtains the necessary regulatory approvals.
