Hilton has officially announced the grand opening of the DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Airport, marking a significant milestone as the brand’s largest hotel in India. Developed in partnership with the Dangayach Group, the 304-room hotel is located within the Bengaluru Aerospace Park, positioning it as a cornerstone of North Bengaluru’s burgeoning economic landscape.
A Strategic Hub for Business and Transit
Located just 9 km (15 minutes) from Kempegowda International Airport (BLR), the hotel is strategically placed to serve the high-density corporate and industrial clusters of Devanahalli. While the project was previously reported as a 267-key development during its construction phase, the final launch features an expanded capacity to meet the rising demand in this corridor.
The opening brings Hilton’s presence in Bengaluru to eight hotels, reflecting the brand’s confidence in the region’s status as a global technology and commercial powerhouse.
Upscale Amenities and Guest Experience
The newly built property offers a mix of stylish Guest Rooms, Suites, and Executive accommodations. Key amenities include:
-
Dining: A signature three-meal restaurant with live kitchens, a bar, and a dedicated self-serve lounge.
-
Events: Extensive meeting facilities, including the high-tech Mirage meeting room and a grand ballroom for large-scale corporate events.
-
Wellness: A fitness center, a full-service spa, and an outdoor swimming pool.
Real Estate and Market Impact
For real estate stakeholders, the launch of a 304-key international hotel within the Aerospace Park validates the “Aerotropolis” vision. Such institutional investments typically act as a catalyst for new property launches in Devanahalli, attracting more multinational corporations and luxury residential developments.
The hotel’s arrival is expected to significantly influence the valuation of nearby high-growth projects. For instance, the demand for upscale housing near the airport road is already seeing an uptick with projects like Godrej Yelahanka on Airport Road benefiting from improved social infrastructure. Furthermore, the hotel provides much-needed hospitality support for residents of large-scale townships like Brigade Orchards Devanahalli.
As the 23-km Bengaluru Business Corridor moves toward completion, the DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Airport stands as a testament to the region’s transformation into the city’s next major economic center.
