In a significant development for Delhi’s hospitality sector, ITC Hotels Ltd has received a long-term lease for land at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, to construct a premium five-star hotel. The allotment was granted by the India International Convention and Exhibition Centre(IICC) Ltd, which oversees India’s largest convention complex.

Under the agreement, ITC Hotels will hold the land on a 91-year lease, paying a lease premium of around ₹326.50 crore. The parcel spans 3,648 square metres, with permissible construction exceeding 26,000 square metres, making it ideal for large-scale luxury hospitality. The property is expected to feature world-class banqueting and conferencing facilities, complementing Yashobhoomi’s role as a hub for conventions, exhibitions, and marquee events.

ITC Hotels aims to combine its signature luxury experience with gastronomic excellence, offering guests curated dining experiences alongside premium accommodation. According to ITC Hotels Managing Director Anil Chadha, this project will elevate Yashobhoomi’s status as a global destination for the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sector.

The hotel also strengthens ITC Hotels’ presence in the Delhi NCR region, where multiple premium properties already operate. With this new addition, the city is expected to attract international delegates, boosting both tourism and business hospitality. Positioned strategically near Dwarka and prime project locations in Delhi, the hotel is poised to set a benchmark in luxury and service excellence.

This development underscores the growing synergy between India’s convention infrastructure and the luxury hospitality industry, making Yashobhoomi a landmark destination for business and leisure travellers alike.
