Mumbai witnessed several high-value celebrity property transactions in 2025, with veteran Bollywood actor Jeetendra Kapoor recording the largest deal of the year. His ₹855 crore land transaction in Andheri emerged as the most significant celebrity real estate move, highlighting the continued strength of Mumbai’s premium property market.

The deal involved the sale of two adjoining land parcels measuring approximately 9,664.68 square metres, or about 2.39 acres, located in Andheri West. The property currently houses the Balaji IT Park, which includes three buildings with a total built-up area of nearly 4.9 lakh square feet. The land was sold to NTT Global Data Centres and Cloud Infrastructure India Private Limited, reflecting rising demand for large land parcels suited for data centre and technology-driven infrastructure development.

The transaction was executed through family-owned firms Pantheon Buildcon Private Limited and Tusshar Infra Developers Private Limited and was officially registered in May 2025. With this sale, Jeetendra Kapoor’s deal topped all Bollywood-linked property transactions recorded during the year, both in value and scale.

In addition to the Andheri land sale, Jeetendra Kapoor and his daughter Ekta Kapoor also completed a residential transaction in Mumbai. A luxury apartment located in Worli, with a built-up area of over 2,100 square feet, was sold for ₹12.25 crore. The apartment formed part of a premium residential project and included designated car parking spaces, reflecting sustained demand in South Mumbai’s high-end housing segment.

Several other Bollywood celebrities were active in the real estate market during 2025. Amitabh Bachchan completed multiple residential and land transactions across Mumbai and Ayodhya, while Akshay Kumar divested several luxury properties in the city, collectively valued at over ₹100 crore. Members of Hrithik Roshan’s family, along with actors such as Varun Dhawan and Jaideep Ahlawat, also participated in notable residential and commercial property deals.

The growing number of celebrity transactions underlines Mumbai’s position as a preferred destination for both residential and commercial investments. High-value deals such as Jeetendra Kapoor’s ₹855 crore transaction reflect broader market trends, including increased institutional interest, evolving land use, and strong long-term confidence in the city’s real estate sector.
